A Coshocton County teen lost his life following a Monday night accident.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, at roughly 9:40pm, dispatch received a 911 call referencing an injury crash on State Route 541, in Jackson Township.
It was determined that 19-year-old Gavin Henry was traveling eastbound when he drove off the right side of the roadway and up an embankment. The front end of the vehicle dug into the ground, causing it to overturn.
Henry was partially ejected and died from the extent of his injuries.
Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Jackson Township Fire Department, REACT, Coshocton County Coroner’s Office and Prince’s Wrecker Service.
