Gwen Rummell Reporting –

The City of Uhrichsville has released its paving list for 2024, with funding, at around $200,000, coming from a previously passed levy.

The list includes various streets and alleys in the city that are in need of repair.

One of the projects on the list is the bridge over the railroad tracks on N. Water Street.  Other streets that will be repaved include N. Water Street from Gulf Station (Corporation Line) to 11th Street, East High Street from Uhrich to Dawson, W. 6th Street from N. Water Street to the dead end, and East High Street from Uhrich to Deersville Avenue.

The city is partnering with Mill Township to repave South Water Street.

In addition to the streets, the list also includes several alleys that will be repaved. These include the alley from Shamel to Parkway, the alley from 11th Street north to 10th (beside 11th Street Church of God), the alley next to the 311 wine room, and behind Presbyterian Church Senior Center.

Residents should be patient and understanding during the construction process as it may cause some temporary inconvenience.
