The 4th annual Gibbs Lane Lemonade Stand will be held Friday as a way to support the Tuscarawas County Humane Society and Stuff the Bus.

Organizer Lois Brown says from 6:30am to 5pm the stand will be open on Gibbs Lane in Dover.

“Puppy chow, caramel corn, cookies of every kind, peach tea, water, lemonade. Keeps getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger.”

Monetary donations will also be accepted and their goal is $5,000. Last year, they raised $4,216.

Brown adds one unique thing about the stand is the kid’s enthusiasm.

“The kids wanting to give back that makes me proud. They’re the ones that run it. I just want to put the focus on my kids. They’re just so excited about it. So cool to watch it happen.”

As part of the stand, they’re collecting pre-school aged school supplies for Stuff the Bus and items for the Humane Society, like cat and dog food, cat litter, towels, blankets, and more.
