Dover Council has agreed to extend water and sewer lines for an 80-home subdivision on the city’s north side.
The water and sewer project along St. Peter’s Church Road will cost just shy of 500 thousand dollars. Mayor Shane Gunnoe says a tax agreement will help cover the cost.
Gunnoe would like the water and sewer work to begin this fall. He says the developer would like to begin construction next year.
Initial plans for the Lawver Homes development, dubbed the Ludy Estates, call for about 30 houses and 50 condos near Dover Burial Park.
