The United Way of Tuscarawas County concluded their annual fundraising campaign that exceeds last year’s total.
Proceeds from the campaign goes to 16 area health and human services programs, as well as special grants focusing on building a sustainable community.
The 2023 campaign raised over $770,677.
Awards were also announced for contributing businesses and the Vic March Annual Service award went to Alison Kerns, of New Philadelphia. She was selected by the United Way Board of Trustees to honor her commitment and dedication for the organization and the community. She started with the local United Way in 1996 as she worked as Associate Director, Vice President, and was President until 2016.
