Mary Alice Reporting – Warmer days means more activity and more tourism within Ohio.
The Ohio Department of Transportation has a hand in travel tourism as they provide information on the state’s scenic byways.
ODOT helps get travelers to these destinations with road up keep, and Digital Media Coordinator Renee DeFord says these road trips offer adventure, history, and scenery.
“The scenic byway program is a great way to see our beautiful state. Visit www.ohiobyways.com to learn more about all twenty-seven byways.”
Some byways available include one through Amish country, the Ohio & Erie Canalway, the Tappan-Moravian Trail, and the Hocking Hills Scenic byway.
Each byway offers a different view of Ohio’s counties and a variety of activities.
