Mary Alice Reporting – A collaboration has brought a new experience for Historic Zoar Village.
They partnered with Kent State University students on a new audio tour that is now available on Spotify, a free digital streaming service.
The audio tours were created to give guests an alternative to guided tours by costumed interpreters and self-guided tours without audio. Listeners can learn fun and obscure facts about the village’s history and buildings.
A release recommends visitors to listen to individual episodes as they tour specific locations with in to the village, with episodes featuring an introduction, details about the School House, Zoar Garden, Tin Shop, and bakery.
