Mary Alice Reporting – Once per week throughout June free community laundry days will be available.
Tuscarawas County Council for Church and Community teamed up with participating locations of Finish Line Coin Laundry to offer the opportunity to help get clothing items washed to those in-need.
The necessity was noticed in the county explains T4C Executive Director Carly Hart.
“Just to help them get by and our hopes are that we can continue with this service through the donations that we receive, and to provide the assistance throughout the community.”
The events will take place each Tuesday this month, from 9am to noon.
- June 6th: 1 N 2nd St, Dennison
- June 13th: 139 Front Ave. SW, New Philadelphia
- June 20th: 1125 Bowers Ave NW, New Philadelphia
- June 27th: 130 E. 2nd Street, Dover
Hart notes that there will be a four load limit per family along with a residency requirement.
“You must bring an ID with proof of Tuscarawas County residency or a proof of residency through a utility bill. Our goal is to serve Tusc County residents.”
Machine use is limited and registration will occur the day of each event. For more details, contact T4C at 330-343-6012.
