Mary Alice Reporting – Kim Jurkovic, curator of the Tuscarawas County Historical Society, will present two programs for the Tuscarawas County Public Library System this June.  Space is limited for these programs and registration is required.

On Saturday, at 10am, take a walk through the East Avenue Cemetery to visit the final resting places and learn stories about some interesting people from the county’s past. Attendees can meet at the cemetery’s mausoleum near 1520 Delaware Dr. in New Philadelphia. 

Later that week, Jurkovic will guide participants down memory lane as they learn about the history of Monroe Mall on Tuesday, June 27th at 6:00 PM at the County Library’s Tusky Branch. Participants will be invited to share their own memories as well.
