Mary Alice Reporting – Uhrichsville council recently discussed the ongoing clean-up need related to high grass and other issues.
A list, generated by Councilman Matt Fox, was given to other members and it highlights properties that he says need cleaned up due to high grass, dead trees, and what seems to be roof, siding, and other projects that may not have a permit.
Another matter was the random road signs, which Fox said was not attractive and asked the best course of taking them down.
“Through Water Street extension, McCauley Drive, and down Water Street, I counted 18 roadside signs about advertising in Canton, garage sales, and houses for sale, and this that and other. This has been an issue for a long time now.”
Councilmember Jim Zucal also pointed out high grass areas and how, in some spots, it has become a safety hazard as it obstructs motorists’ view.
The list was given to administration for consideration of steps that can be taken.
