Gwen Rummell Reporting – The Dominic Greco Band is continuing the tradition of old-fashioned concerts in the park with a concert titled “Pop Goes Dominic Greco 2!”
The first concert will be held at the Sugarcreek Fire Station pavilion on Saturday, July 22nd at 7pm. The second concert will be at the Tuscora Park Ampitheatre on Sunday, July 23rd at 7pm as a part of the RTY Summer Showcase Series.
“Pop! Goes Dominic Greco 2” will feature popular songs including “The Genius Ray Charles”, “Best Broadway Marches”, “Looney Tunes Overture”, “Empire Strikes Back”, and “Phantom of the Opera”. The concerts will also include vocal numbers by Ron Barkett singing “Sit Down You’re Rockin’ the Boat” and “Ghost Riders in the Sky.”
The Dominic Greco Band includes a variety of community members including teachers, lawyers, mechanics, college students, senior citizens, and many more. The Dominic Greco Band is directed by Brian Botdorf, Cheryl Graham and April Linard.
