Gwen Rummell Reporting – The Tuscarawas County Senior Center (TCSC) is announcing a new satellite center in Strasburg.
The location at the United Methodist Church on 206 2nd Street NW is set to open on Tuesday, September 5th at 8:00 am.
The initial days of operation will be Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and closed for observed holidays. The senior center will also be closed when Strasburg-Franklin Local Schools are closed due to inclement weather.
Programs featured will include BINGO, card games, crafts, educational speakers, fitness classes, Bible study, and more. A monthly newsletter will be created to include scheduled events and the lunch menu.
The center will accept monetary donations as well as office and craft supplies.
