Mary Alice Reporting – The Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District as set up a program, through Buckeye Career Center, to support individuals pursuing a law enforcement career.

The Law Enforcement Scholarship Programs is designed to help foster the development of the next generation of public safety leaders with MWCD seek to contribute to this endeavor, as they hire rangers at their lakes.

The partnership, according to a release, would financially assist adult student in BCC’s Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy (OPOTA).

Criteria does apply including, submitting an application to the full-time program and any enrollment requirements, registration with BCC’s student services, and other scholarship sources must be exhausted. The MWCD scholarship funds must be used for tuition and/or fees for the OPOTA.
