TuscParks & Canal Tavern: 5K Trail Fundraiser

TuscParks is partnering with Canal Tavern of Zoar to host a 5K Trail Run-Walk to raise proceeds for the general upkeep of the trail.

The electronic chip-timed race will take place on October 15^th along the towpath from Fort Laurens Museum to the Canal Lands Park trailhead. The race will begin at 1 pm, with awards and door prizes announced afterward.

Participants will also be treated to an Octoberfest-style party with free brats, beer, and live music on the patio.

An early bird registration is open until September 15^th and will cost $30. Registrations will still be taken after September 15^th until the morning of the race, but a $35 fee will be included. Additionally, only those who entered during the early deadline will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
