Golf Outing Fundraiser Exceeds Goal

The 22^nd YMCA-Jack Marsh Memorial Golf Outing was an outstanding success.

The annual event was held in August and is a major fundraiser for the Y’s campaign.

Thanks to the generosity of golfers and event sponsors, notes the Y in a release, they were able to raise $17,065.

All profits from the golf outing benefit the YMCA’s Annual Campaign, which provides direct financial assistance for membership and programs to local youth and families including preschool, summer day camp, after school care, swim lessons, youth sports, and many more health and wellness programs for area youth and families in need.

There were 17 teams who played in the outing this year.
