Gwen Rummell Reporting – The Ohio Water Development Authority (OWDA) awarded $90.6 million through low interest loans to Ohio communities to improve wastewater and drinking water infrastructure for Ohioans.
For the month of September, the Authority awarded funding to 10 projects through its Fresh Water Loan Program.
Tuscarawas County will receive $350,753 at 3.46% for 7 years for the procurement of a combination sewer jetter truck to replace equipment that has exceeded its useful life.
The City of Coshocton will receive $121,424 at 3.95% for 5 years for the design of 4,000 feet of waterline along Chestnut Street to replace aging waterline.
The OWDA also funded projects in 7 other Ohio counties.
