Zucal Officially Resigns as Councilman, Moves to Mayor Seat

An official resignation letter was read by a councilman at the December 28^th City of Uhrichsville Council meeting.

Jim Zucal won the primary and general election, against current Mayor Mark Haney and then Suzanne Bower.

Zucal’s resignation is effective December 31st.

“This resignation is necessary that I may assume the office of mayor of the City of Uhrichsville Monday, January 1, 2024, and I look forward to next year and it’s going to be a bright a sunny future for the City of Uhrichsville.”

He was sworn-in as mayor at the Southern District Court, on the 29^th, by Judge JJ Ong.
