The Tuscarawas County Public Library System announced a partnership with the Tuscarawas Philharmonic for a new program.
The Tunes and Tales program’s goal is to introduce classical orchestra culture to children. Throughout a ten-week cycle, the Philharmonic will provide musicians every other week who will share a book featuring their instrument.
Following the book reading, the musician will play a chosen piece of music and children will be able to craft their own instrument.
The program will run on Thursday mornings at 10 am in the Main Library from January 18th through March 21st.
