Gwen Rummell Reporting –
The Teen Leadership Corps class at Dover High School is holding a donation drive to put together a military care package.
Donations will be accepted throughout the month of January at the Dover High School or Dover Public Library.
Riley Bullock, a high school senior in the Teen Leadership Corps, created the donation drive as part of a class assignment.
“TLC is our Teen Leadership Corps class at Dover High School. It’s a class that we are taught about leadership and about getting involved in our community. Every year, the students have to lead their own individual service projects. This is my project, but it is a group effort at the same time.”
All donations will be shipped to the U.S. Army National Guard in Canton, where they will be sent to the 371st Sustainment Brigade, stationed in Kuwait.
Items needed for the care package include single serve snacks, individually packed drinks, entertainment, and travel sized hygiene products.
A full list of items can be found on the DHS Teen Leadership Corps Facebook page of dovertlc on Instagram.
