Roy G. DeVault Jr., 85, of Beach City passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the Community Hospice Truman House.
Born on February 10, 1939, in Colerain, Ohio he was a son of the late Roy G. Sr., and Anna Morris DeVault. Roy was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy DeVault on July 17, 2023; brothers, William, Martin, Francis and Edward DeVault; sisters, Marjorie Burkett, Lois DeVault and Rosalie Young.
He retired in 1982 from the Norfolk and Southern Railroad in Brewster and had also worked at the US Ceramic Tile Co. in East Sparta. He was also a member of the Dover VFW Auxiliary.
Roy is survived by his sons, Mark (Patti) DeVault of New Philadelphia, Roy DeVault III of Massillon; daughter, Gwendolyn DeVault of Alliance; brother, Gary (Sally) DeVault of Strasburg; granddaughter, Melissa DeVault and three great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at the Dover Burial Park.
