Tuscarawas county health officials need more participation for their community health needs assessment before time expires.
The Healthy Tusc collaborative hosts the online survey once every three years.
Chair Jennifer Demuth says the data from the survey helps health and human service organizations in the county shape and pursue grant dollars for their programs.
“We need to know what those needs are so that we can plan for the future and plan for not only new services but also to maintain the services that we already offer.”
Demuth says the survey is completely anonymous and is only up through July 31st. But she says as of mid-month, only about 16-percent of the survey respondents have been men.
“If you can take an extra effort to donate 10 to 15 minutes of your time to take our survey, it would really help us get a more complete and accurate picture of the needs in Tuscarawas County.”
That survey can be found through the link near the top of the Tuscarawas County Health Department’s website, www.tchdnow.org.
