Mary Alice Reporting –

The Ohio Department of Transportation is urging caution as more vehicles will be visible throughout the Canton area for Enshrinement Week at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

The weekend, from August 1st through the 4th, can bring in an estimated 40,000 visitors and anyone going to enshrinement events or visiting Stark County is asked to use caution.

District 4 Public Information Officer Ray Marsch notes that traffic will be heavy.

“It’s always best to leave 25 minutes or 30 minutes earlier than what you’re expecting that way you’re not in a rush, if there is a delay, you’re able to get there on time, park, and get where you need to be. You can always check out our map, that’s OHGO, www.ohgo.com, we have live traffic cameras in the Canton area so you can pull up and see what 77 looks like.”

Some big events include Saturday morning will see the downtown parade and then the Concert for Legends on Sunday night.
