Deane L. Hasseman, age 65, of Dellroy, Ohio, died Thursday, August 29, 2024, her residence.
She was born November 19, 1958, in Canton, Ohio and was the daughter of the late Leon Francis, Sr. and Lovie Leona (McDaniel) Sanford.
Deane was formerly employed as a night auditor for Candlewood Estates in Carrollton, Ohio. She also sold Avon Products for 20 years. Her and her husband Gaylord, whom she married April 22, 1980, participated in Drag Racing for many years at the Magnolia Dragstrip. She was a loving wife, mother and sister who will be missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband Gaylord D. Hasseman, whom she married April 22, 1980, a daughter, Megan Lynette Hasseman and a son Jesse Dalton Hasseman, both of Dellroy, three brothers, Leon F. (Connie) Sanford Jr. of New Philadelphia, OH, Terry Sanford of Dellroy, and Eric (Lisa) Sanford of Sherrodsville, OH.
A public graveside service will conduct at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, in the Union Valley Cemetery on Bark Road near Dellroy with Rev. Milo Baker officiating. Interment will follow the graveside service. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville has been entrusted with arrangements.
