Bonnie Lou May, age 69, of New Philadelphia, passed away unexpectedly Monday, September 9, 2024, in her home.
Born January 9, 1955, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Dennis Sr. and Dorothy (Clay) May. Bonnie graduated from New Philadelphia High School in 1973 and was employed by the state of Ohio for many years. She was a life member of New Philadelphia Post 1445 V.F.W. Auxiliary as well as the Dover Eagles Auxiliary.
She is survived by her sisters and brother, Karen Nugo, David (Connie) May and Linda (David Sr.) Hykes; her sister-in-law, Harriet May; her nieces and nephews; her step-nieces and step-nephews; and her great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by her brother, Dennis May Jr.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, September 16, 10 – 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow at 11 in the funeral home; Pastor David Wing will officiate. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park.
