This year’s One Book One Community programming is underway.
The Tuscarawas County Literacy Coalition hosts this each fall to spark conversation over a shared reading experience for participants.
The selection this time is “things seen from above” by Shelly Pearsall, described as an empathetic story about a couple of outsider school kids who view the world a little differently.
Planning committee chair Courtney Wallace says it’s for readers of all ages.
However, Wallace says the Pearsall won’t be able to make it in from Scotland for the culminating event November 4th at Kent Tusc Founders Hall but she will be appearing live by Zoom.
The one book one community programs include book discussions at area libraries on “things seen from above,” along with art and writing contests, and events for students. Find the list at www.tuscliteracy.org.
