The 35-year-old indicted for an alcohol-fueled attack in New Philadelphia is also facing prison time in a domestic violence and assault case out of Harrison County.
Christopher Beatty appeared by video from the jail Wednesday for his arraignment in Tuscarawas County Common Pleas court where he’s charged with aggravated burglary and felonious assault.
38-year-old Todd Riordan of Massillon and 36-year-old Jared Soltero of Minerva were indicted on identical charges for the august 20th attack at the victim’s home on Fair Avenue that left him with multiple abrasions, facial fractures, and a partially detached ear.
Beatty was on pre-trial supervision at the time for the Harrison county case after having his bond revoked twice and being bailed out of jail by Riordan both times.
Judge Elizabeth Thomakos continued Beatty’s quarter-million-dollar bond and scheduled a pre-trial conference with the attorneys on October 28th.
