We’re now three weeks away from November’s general election.

At the Tuscarawas County Board of Elections Office, voting machine testing is scheduled for this Tuesday and Wednesday.

Director Gail Garbrandt says it’s required before every election and open to observers.

Meanwhile, early voting has been continuing at the courthouse on weekdays only for now, with additional days and hours beginning next week.

Early in-person voting runs through the Sunday before the election.

Garbrandt says around 17-hundred Tuscarawas County residents cast a ballot that first week.
