Thomas Dallas Foster, 58, of Freeport, Ohio, passed away at his much-loved home, the Bethel Place, on December 18, 2024, surrounded by family and friends. Tom was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in July and fought tooth and nail to the bitter end, never letting cancer stop him from doing what he loved.

Tom was a graduate of Ohio University and served as a Special Agent in the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigation Division. He later became a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator, most recently working at Holland Management’s Country Club Rehabilitation Center in Dover.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lisa Foster, and his daughters Heather, Rachael, and Mary. He was preceded in death by his best friend and beloved family dog, Doug.

Tom was a focused and dedicated family man, always putting his family’s needs before his own. He had a passion for hunting and before he died was able to pass on his love and knowledge to his daughter’s partners. They will continue to uphold his traditions as he would have wished.

A private service will be held on Saturday in Greenmont Union Cemetery in Freeport.

NOTE:

The family requests that no condolences be made on this website, no sympathy flowers sent, nor trees planted in Tom’s memory. — Thank You for respecting their wishes.
