Joyce L. Little, age 73, of Dover, died Sunday, December 29, 2024, following a period of declining health.
Born June 23, 1951, in Wheeling, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Elizabeth (Metz) Florence. Joyce graduated from Martins Ferry High School and attended Kent State University. She was employed for over 20 years by Twin City Hospital in Dennison.
She took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren, delighting in their achievements, and continuously adding to their scrapbooks. Joyce also enjoyed reading, playing cards with her friends, and spending time at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center.
She will be dearly missed by her sons, Doug (Amber) Little of Dover, and Mike (Dolores) Little of Pataskala; her grandchildren, Nolan, Tyler and Kyle Little, and Cody and Brooke Gamble; her sister, Janet Florence of Martins Ferry; and her brother, Bill (Debbie) Florence of Gastonia, North Carolina.
Besides her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Florence.
A private service will be held with entombment in the mausoleum of Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover.
