Tuscarawas County is under a winter weather advisory until 10am for January 3rd. According to the National Weather Service, snow accumulation could be between 1 and 3 inches. Plan on slippery road conditions.
Meanwhile, Tuscarawas and neighboring counties are also under a Hazardous Weather Outlook. Localized heavy snow showers are possible into the afternoon, which could result in low visibility and a quick accumulation of snow on roads.
Additionally, temperatures are expected to be in the mid to low 20’s over the next week, with this in mind, warming centers will be available during certain hours on this Friday, Jan 3rd. Other great options can be the New Towne Mall and grocery stores.
