Tuscarawas County Health Department officials are reminding the public about the medical services they provide.

It’s part of the wide variety of public health responsibilities they handle.

Community Relations Director Jennifer Demuth says the department’s medical office is always welcoming new patients 12 and older who are in need of a provider, doctor, or nurse practitioner.

“We provide traditional medical care. If you need a doctor or nurse practitioner, you can come to the Tuscarawas County health Department for that service.”

Demuth says people can also go to the health department for physicals. They are 30 dollars each for anyone from school age up to 26.

The medical office is open for appointments Monday through Thursday, as well as two evenings per week.
