Limited tickets are available for an evening that will benefit OhioGuidestone’s Mental Health treatment program for youth at risk of suicide.
The Saturday, February 1st fundraiser will be at Rustic Ridge Wedding Barn. Single tickets are $75, and doors open at 5:30pm.
Vice President of Regional Operations Pam Trimmer says proceeds will launch an Expressive Arts Program.
“Focused on kids who are at risk of suicide. We have alarming rates in Tuscarawas County. We have surveyed youth in the schools and 10-percent, which is 150 kids, reported feeling sad and lonely almost every day and have thought about self-harm.”
Tori Noah says this year’s fundraising theme is ‘Unmasking the Stigma’.
“Talking about unmasking the stigma is we’re encouraging everyone to come as they are. You can come in a fancy cocktail dress, can come in jeans. You see a little bit of everything.”
Tickets are being sold online at www.ohioguidestone.org/unmasking-the-stigma or by calling 330-343-8171. Attendees are encouraged to wear their own mask or purchase one at the door.
