Dover officials have reached a three-year agreement with their union-represented workers outside of the police and fire departments.
Mayor Shane Gunnoe says they’ve agreed to raises each year that range from 1-dollar to 1-dollar and 10 cents per hour. An average of about 3 and a half percent per year for the average employee. The contract applies to about 80 employees who are represented by AFSCME Local 2550.
Gunnoe says the raises are in line with those given to police and fire department employees. The fire contract expires in 2026. The police contract expires in 2027.
