Tuscarawas County Health officials are celebrating all things Earth Day on this Tuesday.
Director of Promotion and Community Relations Jennifer Demuth says the department is hosting a special goody bag giveaway drive-up event at its parking lot from 3 to 5pm.
It will include a coloring book teaching kids about the importance of and ways of taking care of the environment. Flower seeds will be included.
Demuth says they will also distribute free tick removal kits as part of Tuesday’s drive-up event. This kit will consist of special tweezers, a tiny magnifying glass, and an explanation card.
Supplies are limited to one per household.
