
The League of Women Voters of Tuscarawas County will host an information session covering many ballot issues and controversial state legislation.
Thursday’s event is from 6 to 7pm at Fourth and Faith at the corner of Wooster Avenue and Fourth Street in Dover.
The organizations invited multiple speakers and among them will be New Philadelphia School Board member Jenn Schrock to speak about Issue 10, a combined 6.9-mil bond issue and tax levy to build a new elementary school.
April King, the District of the Gnadenhutten Public Library, will talk about their tax levy renewal.
County Engineer Doug Bachman will discuss Issue 2 and then former State Representative John Patterson will talk about school funding as it related to the house approved state budget.
