Winifred “Arlene” Watson, 83 of Newcomerstown, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Riverside Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Arlene was born May 27, 1942, to the late Samuel E. and Doris V. (Riggle) Riddle. She retired from Groovfold Fabricators, and loved traveling. She also enjoyed cooking, and shopping at Walmart.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert T. Watson; her son Harold (Mary Jo) Watson; her son-in-law Michael (Tanya) Stack; her grandchildren Robert (Christina) Watson, Kayla (James) McKee, Lindsey Stack, and Logan (Kirstin) Stack; several great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; her siblings Sandra “Jean” (Norm) Oliver and David Riddle; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn Yvonne Stack; and her brothers Samuel E. Riddle Jr. and Harold Riddle.
Per Arlene’s wishes, a cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at Uhrichsville Church of the Nazarene, 116 N Dawson St, Uhrichsville, OH 44683, on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Pastor Andrew Kohr officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Arlene’s name to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave SW, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
