
One person was flown to Akron Summa Hospital following a hit and run on US 250.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called Tuesday just after noon to a report of a pedestrian struck at mile post 12.1 in Goshen Township.
According to a release, an investigation determined a 2003 Peterbuilt commercial vehicle was disable on the berm. A Ford F550 service truck was parked in front.
The two were working on the left front tire when a southbound 2005 Sterling L8500 truck crossed the white fog line. The truck hit the service technician and the driver left the scene.
The 24-year-old was taken by Medflight and the 28-year-old truck driver was treated on scene.
The suspect truck and the suspected driver were found a few hours later at a local business.
