The City of Uhrichsville is moving forward with plans to revitalize the Jacyee Road and Trenton Avenue area.
Mayor Jim Zucal relayed to council that they are the recipients of an over $1.5 million Small Cities Grant.
“We have worked diligently on the area around Wardell Street, Trenton Avenue, and the area out to Novelis. We’re looking at that in phases.”
The project includes partial and full-depth pavement repairs, asphalt overlay, new curbs and sidewalks, improved drainage, pavement striping, and signage on portions of Trenton Avenue and Jaycee Road.
ODOT’s program awarded $12.7 million, and Uhrichsville was among seven other communities to receive a grant.
