The New Philadelphia School District’s superintendent is now leading a professional organization that represents school administrators across Ohio.
Amy Wentworth is the 56th president of the Buckeye Association of School Administrators. She’s the sixth woman in the organization’s history to serve in that role. BASA’s executive director says Wentworth, New Philadelphia’s superintendent since 2021, is respected statewide for her commitment to students, collaborative leadership style and dedication to public education.
Wentworth says the new title is an honor, and she will work to strengthen Ohio’s public schools.
