Today, Monday, October 6th, is the voter registration deadline for the November 4th general election.
Tuscarawas county board of elections director David Johnson says they’re staying open later – until 9 pm tonight – for the occasion.
The first ballots will then be cast, starting tomorrow, Tuesday, October 7th early voting gets underway. Voters are reminded to bring along a valid ID.
Johnson reminds everyone the board moved out of the county courthouse and is now operating out of its new office at 933 East High Avenue in New Philadelphia.
