F. Eric Huprich, 60, of Ragersville, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 5, 2025.
He was born in Dover on September 4, 1965, to the late Robert Lee and Mary M. (Coblentz) Huprich, Sr.
Eric worked for many years at Belden Brick and was looking forward to retiring soon. He enjoyed mowing on his Ventrac, reading, taking Sunday drives to explore new places and volunteering at the Ragersville Historical Society. He was a member of the Tuscarawas Lodge #59 in Dover and was a past Master. He also enjoyed participating in the many Masonic and Scottish Rite activities.
He is survived by his siblings, Heather (Scott) Dayton, Bob (Kathy) Huprich, and Ken Huprich all of Ragersville, Diane Myers of New Philadelphia, and Judy Hill of Kimbolton; nieces and nephews Garrett Disler, Jacob and Hannah Dayton, Adam (Ashley) Huprich, Michele (Troy) Regula, Tanya (Wayne) Everhart, Shawn (Chandra) Miller, Lillian (Jim) Chamberlain, Tony Hill, Terry Hill and Tammie Elliott.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 11 AM at the Zion United Church of Christ at Ragersville with Pastor Bill Eckert officiating. Burial will follow in the Ragersville Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4-7 PM at Smith-Varns Funeral home in Sugarcreek and on Thursday from 10-11 AM at the church prior to services. Masonic services will be held on Wednesday at 7 PM at the conclusion of calling hours.
