Winfield to hold Community Reunion

On Saturday, October 18th, from Noon to 3 pm, there will be a Winfield Community Reunion at the former Winfield School, located at State Route 516 west of Dover. The school has been closed since 1962, when the Dover Township school board relinquished control and the students were bused to Park School, in the Dover City School system. In 1971 the building was sold, remodeled and now houses the Winfield Community Church. There will be a carry-in dinner at 1 pm followed by a short meeting at 2 pm. All present and past residents; school, church or garage attendees, store customers, friends, passing through, or just curious, WELCOME!
