Three new members are appointed to the Tuscarawas County Convention and Visitors Bureau board of directors.
Director Dee Grossman says the board is vital for operations at the CVB.
“Responsible for the fiscal oversight. They make sure the money is spent appropriately according to the law of the state of Ohio. They also make sure that the policies and procedures put in place by previous board members are upheld.”
The three new members are Taylur Cunningham with the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum, Stacey Carmany with Dutchman Hospitality Group, and Marita Tornabene a teacher at Immaculate Conception School.
“They’re very well rounded. We’ve got marketing folks, we’ve got folks from a theatre, and we’ve got someone who was actually in Trumpet in the Land, so a very broad-based group of new folks.”
Each will serve for three years starting in 2026 to help the CVB’s mission of promoting tourism and support local attractions.
