Hours will vary at the board of elections office for this final week of early, in-person voting.
Tuscarawas Board of Elections Director Dave Johnson reminds voters that they need to come to their new location at 933 East High Avenue.
“Starting Monday, this will be Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we are open 7:30am to 7:30pm. On Tuesday we are open from 7:30am to 8:30pm. Tuesday’s important because you must have your absentee ballot applications into us. That is the last day we can accept them for this election.”
They will have weekend hours too.
“Saturday we are open from 8:00am to 4:00pm, and Sunday we’re open from 1pm to 5pm.”
The office will be closed Monday, November 3rd and polling locations open Tuesday at 6:30am.
Johnson notes that absentee ballots must be postmarked by Monday, November 3rd to count.
