Scarf Day

The Scarf Project is gearing up for another successful year of warming the world one scarf at a time. Scarf Day will be November 14th, 2025. Volunteers place new scarves and hats at various distribution sites where they are tied to fences, posts, gazebos, etc., and easily available at no cost to those who need a little help keeping warm during the cold weather. The entire project is volunteer driven, with knitters and crocheters making items that are then donated to the Scarf Project and stored at The Hill in Uhrichsville throughout the year. There are locations throughout Tuscarawas County. Dover: St John’s United Church of Christ, Medical Suites (Behind Cleveland Clinic Union Hospital). Gnadenhutten: Restoration Center. Midvale: Corner of State ST & Barnhill Rd. Mineral City: Nicole Donant Library. Navarre: Towpath Trail YMCA. New Philadelphia: Former Rite Aid, Starlight Enterprises, Tuscarawas County Public Library. Port Washington: Community Center. Strasburg: Strasburg Village Market. Tuscarawas: St. James Lutheran Church. Uhrichsville: The Gazebo at the Panhandle Passage.
