Juanita Marie (King) Opphile, 87, of Newcomerstown, passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Riverside Manor in Newcomerstown. Juanita was born October 12, 1938, in Guernsey County to the late Herman King and Amanda (Myers) King. She was a 1956 graduate of Newcomerstown High School and went on to work at several different places throughout the years, most notably, the Duke Truck Stop in Newcomerstown. Juanita loved to crochet and knit; she loved gardening and playing games on her cell phone. She was an avid reader and loved watching old westerns and Harry Potter. Juanita also loved any and all animals.

She is survived by her daughter, Laurie Beth (Richard) Webb of Newcomerstown, her son, Gregory Lee (Renee) Opphile of New Philadelphia; son-in-law, Duane Roberts of Lakeland, Florida; four grandchildren, Eric (Kelsey) Webb, RaeAnn (James) Randles, Mathew Felton, and Aaron (Madison) Felton; great-grandchildren, Holden and Kourtlynn Webb, Anabelle Felton, Brooklyn and Jayce Randles, Izabella Haney, Andre Mendoza, and Sophia and Brentley Varnes-Felton.

In addition to her parents, Juanita was preceded in death by her daughter, Julie May Roberts; her brothers, William, Roger, Don, and Herman King; sisters, Margaret Bernardo and Carol Walton.
