Voters said yes to issue 2, the Tuscarawas County Senior Center’s levy renewal and increase for continuing services.
Senior center director Jamie Smith says they look forward to meeting some of the campaign promises involving building capacity and adding more innovative programming.
“We are so pleased that our levy has passed. The staff and the board of directors at the Tuscarawas County Senior Center are so grateful to the voters who approved this renewal with an increase. We look forward to meeting some of the promises we made to the voters and building capacity and creating more innovative programing all for our senior citizens here in Tuscarawas County.”
About 55 percent of the county voters were in favor of Issue 2 for the senior center, according to the unofficial results.
