A 16-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries in a two-vehicle crash.

The New Philadelphia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating the Thursday crash at the intersection of Dundee Strasburg Road and State Route 93.

Just before 5pm a 2014 Ford Focus, operated by the teenager of Sugarcreek, was west on Dundee Strasburg Road.

Traveling northbound, on SR 93, was a 2015 Dodge Ram pickup operated by a 57-year-old from Bolivar.

OSP’s investigation determined that the 16-year-old did not yield for a stop sign, causing the Dodge to strike the Ford on the driver side.

Med flight transported the teen to Akron City Hospital with serious injuries. She also had a 18-year-old passenger who sustained minor injuries. The other driver was treated at the scene.
