Cindy, born Cynthia Louise Tillapaw on June 10,1952 of Seminole Florida formally of Dover, Ohio passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, surrounded by family. She is survived by her devoted husband Harry Provan, her mother Jean Tillapaw, brother James (Cindy) Tillapaw Jr, her sister Jill (Atlee) Hershberger, children Jake Miller, Meredith (Matt) Crider, Megen Provan and Ned Provan, and grandchildren Jonah Crider and Morgen Schreiner. She is preceded in death by her first husband Noah Miller and her father James Tillipaw Sr.
Cindy was president of her mobile home park for 10 years. In that time, she was able to procure grants for park improvements, keep up with beautifying the grounds, as well as planning events, and ensuring everything ran smoothly at the park. She and her husband enjoyed their time there and had many friends. When a hurricane was heading towards their park, Cindy made sure people had hotel arrangements to keep them safe. She was an active member of Santas Drill Team. She attended many events including parades, honor flights, as well as visiting Veterans on their birthdays. She and her husband enjoyed being Mr. and Mrs. Claus and brought joy to hundreds of adults and children all over Florida and Ohio. They were the Mr. And Mrs. Claus for the United States Coast Guard in Clearwater for many years as well as volunteering for the USO. She was an active member of the Palm Tree Santas. Cindy was a member of the Seminole United Methodist Church. Prior to retiring in Florida, she was a nurse for many years before becoming a stay-at-home mom to take care of her family. Her hobbies included playing cards with friends, cooking, baking, reading, and taking care of others.
A celebration of life will be held on December 13, 2025, starting at 10:00 at Brewster Friends Church 139 West Main Street Brewster, Ohio 44613. After the celebration of life there will be a graveside service followed by a luncheon. There will also be a celebration of life later in the community where she and Harry resided.
