Uhrichsville’s theme is “Together We Shine” and it’s Light Up Dennison this Friday evening following the Christmas Parade.

The Clayland Lion’s Club parade steps off at 6pm from Uhrichsville before traveling from Water and 3rd Streets and down Grant Street before ending at the Village’s gazebo.

Residents are then invited to both communities for vendors and activities.

Dennison Mayor Greg DiDonato says they will have trackless train rides, hot cocoa and hot dog booths, the ice rink will be open, and more.

“All five of our restaurant eateries are going to be open and we have five businesses that are extending their hours that are offering specials and sales. We also have Santa and Mrs. Claus. We also have face painting. We’ve made maps for everything.”

Uhrichsville administrative assistant Bonnie Coventry is spearheading the city’s activities which will include food trucks.

“Horse and carriage ride, we’re going to be serving popcorn, we have a photo backdrop, the football teams coming, and we’ve got some choirs that are going to be singing, and the Grinch and Cindy Lou Who.”

Uhrichsville’s festivities this Friday is from 5:30 to 8pm. Dennison’s event is 6:30 to 8pm. More details can be found on the individual municipalities Facebook page.
